President’s Goings On!!!
I (Liz Weaver) am working on a program to help the businesses with weatherization of your buildings to cut heating cost.
I (Liz Weaver) am working with the Town and EDC to bring back the Beautification Grant for businesses. This is a grant to help with painting, awnings etc. They have about $2700.00 available, and there is an application process.
I (Liz Weaver) will be meeting with the Knights and the Del Norte Fire Chief to establish a working relationship.
The Chamber has voted to join the Rotary to keep informed so the President will be asked to attend the meetings every Wednesday at 7:00 am at Boogies.
We will be starting some new classes this fall about blogging, facebook, quickbooks, advertising, marketing strategies so look for info in the Chamber chat and your e-mail.
