Tour of Lights

The Del Norte Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce the second annual Del Norte Tour of Lights

will take place on Friday, December 3rd!

Overview:

This event will have something for everyone - goodie bags, Santa, Christmas lights, and an impressive fireworks display!

There are several opportunities to participate in the Tour of Lights this year! Residents and businesses are encouraged to light up their homes and/or businesses to light the way for the tour of cars. The top three best decorated houses will each win a $250 prize. The best decorated business will be recognized as well. Please note that the contest applies to Del Norte residents within city limits only. In order to be included in the contest, all decorations must be up by December 3rd. 

If decorating your house wasn’t enough and you want to decorate your car for the tour as well, we will also be giving out $100 prizes to the top three best decorated cars. You do not need to decorate your car in order to join the tour of cars, but it is encouraged! Cars will line up on French Street and Santa will lead the tour in one of the Del Norte Fire Department’s fire trucks. The exact location of the parade line-up and a map of the tour will be posted on the Chamber’s website, www.DelNorteChamber.org,  prior to December 3rd. 

After viewing the lights, find a cozy spot and settle in for fireworks! Fireworks will launch from the “D” on Lookout Mountain and will be seen best on the east side of town. The fireworks show will begin at 7pm.

Time: Tour line up - 5:30pm, tour begins - 6:00pm, fireworks - 7:00pm

Prizes:

(3) $100 prizes for best decorated cars,

(3) $250.00 prizes (residential only),

Best decorated business will be recognized
